How To Submit Files
We accept digital files via the entry form ONLY. To enter images please go to the login / register pages to begin the process. Image Submissions: -JPEG or GIF files -Horizontal files should be no wider than 800 pixels wide. -Vertical files should be no taller than 600 pixels tall. -Square files should be 600 pixels x 600 pixels. -All files need to be RGB at a resolution of 72dpi. -File size must be less than 350k Interactive Submissions: -JPEG or GIF (see above) -QuickTime files should be 320x240. Must not be larger than 15 megs. -MPEG files should be 320x240 (must not be mp4 files) No larger than 15 megs. -Flash files. (We do not accept any analog materials) -Web Sites: if you are entering a link to a web site, you must also include a screen shot from the site that fits within the dimensions of the 'image' entries above. Only paid entries will be available for judging Payment can be made by Credit Cards only. (American Express, Visa or Master Card) We use 'Your Pay' to handle processing our payments. During the payment process you will be taken to their web page to submit your credit card information via secure forms. After payment is made you will be returned to the Altpick Awards site. Entry Deadline The deadline has been extended! It is still open! Categories Illustration Illustration Series Design, Logos/Identity - Series Design, Covers/Book/Magazine Spreads - Series Design, Ad Campaign/Packaging/3d - Series Photography Photography Series Website Design Animation/Shorts/Commercials FAQ / Common Inquiries 1. If image is submitted larger or smaller than the requirements, it will be resized to fit. The original dimensions of the file will be kept. 2. If you have an error on your submission, you will need to use the "DELETE" function for the image in question and resubmit it with your corrections made. 3. Once the submission is marked paid, no other changes can be made. 4. All entries can only be accepted using the entry area on the website. 5. Altpick.com Awards requires that you accept cookies. Make sure you accept the altpick.com cookie by allowing it when prompted, or set your web browser's preference to accept cookies. Awards A Gold Award will be given to one illustrator, one designer, one photographer and one new media artist. The Gold Award winner will receive an incredible opportunity to be a part of 2009 The Alternative Pick Deck, valued at $1200 (http://altpick.com/deck.php). The Alternative Pick Deck is distributed to advertising agencies nationwide. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners in both Jury and Popular Vote will appear in the 2009 Altpick Awards limited edition publication. All winners be also be a part of The Altpick Awards Gallery Show and each pieces will be printed by iNKY Color. The winner will receive the print after the show. Award winners will be announced mid-October 2008. Winners will need to provide a high resolution file of their work for the Alternative Pick Deck card (1st place Jury winners only) and for the Altpick Awards publication (all winners).
